The Body Malleable is a project that seeks to expose the malleability of the unfixed body and negotiate themes of identity and ontology when the artist is subject. By cataloging my own body I investigate its materiality and explore points of expansion and limitation within the body and the material medium. This project centers around the physicality of embodiment and raises questions of agency within a practice of self-portraiture.
